Bio

I earned my MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University and my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Arkansas. I’m currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling and serve as the Clinical Co-Director at Troy University.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) in the state of Georgia. I’m also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). In addition, I’m a Certified QPR Gatekeeper Trainer for Suicide Prevention and a Certified EMDR provider. I currently serve as the Eastern District Representative for the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia (LPCA-GA).

With nearly 14 years of experience, I’ve worked with adults, military personnel, veterans, and their families in outpatient mental health settings. My clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, and PTSD. I’ve had the privilege of presenting at regional, national, and international conferences, and I’m actively engaged in research and peer-reviewed publication collaborations.
