Hi, I’m Arooj! I support individuals navigating life’s challenges—whether it’s depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, or relationship struggles. I understand that these experiences can affect anyone and are often shaped by complex emotional, social, and cultural layers.
My role as a therapist is to meet you with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a deep commitment to your well-being. I create a safe, supportive, and respectful space where you can explore your thoughts and experiences at your own pace. My approach is trauma-informed and holistic, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic principles to create a path that’s tailored to your unique needs and goals.
I hold a Master’s in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University Chicago and have extensive experience working with diverse and underserved communities. In our work together, you’ll find a non-judgmental space where your experiences are honored and your voice is truly heard.
My goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and find alignment between your values and the way you live. Whether you’re working through personal struggles or navigating cultural identity, I’m here to walk alongside you as you create meaningful and lasting change.
